It's possible that for instance if you're using a smartphone to play the app that perhaps your service has either been relocated to an area where that specific services cell tower (which gives the cellphones we use our ability to have a certain amount of range in coverage if that makes any sense.) And well since some areas seem to affect the strength of the signal sent from those towers to your phone its possible that could be a reason behind this issue you're facing, or you may have had your service interrupted due to a none payment of your monthly bill. Or if you're simply an avid wifi user whom has been forced to rely on the Hotspot or free wifi of others (that unfortunately being myself right now in my own life currently so if thats the case then I can totally relate and feel your pain on dealing with the annoying frustration to which you may constantly feel yourself having due to the constant limitations the "wifi life" can bring you) but if noones Hotspot is available and there is no free wifi signal strong enough to reach where you're located at now, than I'd suggest that being a possible culprit in your predicament as well.
