👭 Accept/ reject Friend requests unresponsive

We are currently investigating the issue with friendship request messages being unresponsive/ not working in the game.

Hopefully it will be fixed and working again soon.

Good news!

Our developers found the issue and it will be fixed in the next update on 9 February 2022.

When the new game update is out next week, please make sure to update your game to get Friendship requests working correctly again.

So I don't know why you guys changed this crap in the first place, but now we have to add friends for lives etc... Well, that's great and all, but the "Add more friends" button that appears in a couple different places in the app only worked once, where it popped open the options on how to add friends- either by sending it through other apps or copying a link and sending it separately. That does not work any more and I have no idea why. I have cleared my cache, force quit, checked for the latest update etc... I recently had to factory reset my phone so this is a fresh install anyways... Samsung Galaxy S9+...

AAlso, no way to sign into Facebook anymore.. Don't know what happened to that either. Doesn't appear anywhere anymore...

So many things like that on this app that only work sporadically, it's ridiculous. Yet you guys have 4 different Candy Crush games and you can't get any of them right...

I've noticed a problem in the last 2 days.

When I run out of lives I would go to my friends list and request more but suddenly its not saying I have no friends and to add more (which when I add, still doesn't show)

But when I fail/pass a level it still shows the 'send lives' and my list of friends.

I still have the remaining lives I saved from a few days ago and the names of my friends.. So where have they gone??

Also.. Where it shows to accept or decline friends invitation. It doesn't work. Nothing happens when I try to accept them or even decline.

My apologies, I'm technically challenged and get frustrated spending so much time scrolling through posts trying to locate an answer. Please bear with me and sorry if it's not the right place for this.

I finally received a couple friend requests but the ✔️ isn't working or am I doing it wrong? Don't I click on the ✔️ to accept the request?

I have some friendship requests, but when I hit the check mark to accept the friend requests, it does nothing. Can you help?
