Why is my avatar/picture blank?
A friend asked why my picture is blank now. I can see it on mine but it's blank for them. I don't know if it's on everyone's or just theirs.
I didn't change anything on my end that I'm aware of unless it was by accident.
Do I need to do something to get it back?

I've had this issue before too. I've never been able to fix it, but I've guessed it is a privacy issue and they are trying to protect your identity to some degree.

Do you mean protect privacy because of a data breach type issue?
Other people are having this issue too.@kiara_wael could this be the case?

This is occurring after the issue encountered on Facebook on May 14th. Some Facebook players are able to see their own avatar but not that of their friends. I noticed that it only happens on the mobile App and not on the PC. It is not known when it will return as before but hopefully as soon as possible.

It's not only on the mobile app. It might be occuring on the mobile app, but pictures and avatars of facebook users (cannot see what device they use) are not visibe in the friendlist nor on the playfield for me. I'm a king account user playing on a windows desktop. It occured at the same time as the issue with Facebook.

It's not just my picture either.
And sometimes I just get out of the game.
And play again in a minute.
It's all gone.
It's like I'm just a new account.

I think this is due to Facebook, the Candy Crush App is up to date and working correctly, but Facebook is not up to date in the mobile. Anyway, I will pass the feedback.

Hi guys!
If you still have an issue with your or your friend's avatars not showing up in the game, please make sure you have the app updated first.
Then try with disconnecting the game from Facebook. Force close/ stop the app and restart the device.
Open the game and reconnect to your Facebook account.
If this doesn't help, please let us know and also post a screenshot of the game and issue so we can take a closer look at this.

Since the problems with facebook all pictures and avatars of FB-friends are gone. I'm a King account user. Is this a known issue?

It seems like Facebook has had some issues lately. If you are able to download the app from the App Store and play that way, you may have better luck :)

Sorry, mistaken identity. The first possible solution came from Kiara. I can't select an app as update in case a solution is embedded in the software. Complely installing as new gives als troubles (losing items, on going status, received lives)

This is only a temporary problem because Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.
Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in,

Not sure why it wouldn't be connected when it was never disconnected. I'll try a couple things, I hope this doesn't cause me to loose my F5.

Tried signing in/out of game, in/out with Facebook, in/out with email, turned phone on/off and there are no updates for me.
Is there anything else to try?
