I can't believe that with 44+ hours to go in this competition that the person in my group is first with 8,750 colour bombs crossed, even assuming they got 2 pairs crossed per game then that's over 435 levels ! Naw, not wishing to sound like a bad loser but a lot of people are hacking these competitions.

Hello @Kevin_Paul_Scott are you sure about the Colour Bombs? I only ask because my Sweet Sailing is all about collecting blue candy.

Does your event include a times ten bonus for items collected @Kevin_Paul_Scott?
Over ten thousand Colour Bombs is an incredible number to collect. All I can think of over and above a times ten bonus is that I have read that level 3309 allows players to collect hundreds of Colour Bombs each time they play it.

It's times 10 for new levels, x1 for old levels but let's not forget this is not just about collecting colour bombs, this is about having 2 colour bombs next to each other and crossing them one with the other. I just checked, first place has 'crossed' over 15,000 times, even at x 10 that's gotta take at least 1,500 levels, say 20 levels per hour (that's really fast) equals 750 hours .... over 4 weeks 24/7 and the competition has only been running 2 days - hence my disbelief that it was done without hacking.
Yes, 3309 used to give loads of colour bombs but it didn't ever cross them, you may have been able to cross at the most 3 times before it was complete and ran itself on but it was nerfed a few months ago and now stops itself very quickly when complete.

@Kevin_Paul_Scott I missed the bit about having to combine two Colour Bombs.
After seeing the scores that people achieved in the All Stars event it is apparent that people can play Candy Crush for an unhealthy amount of time just to top their leader board.
That aside unless there is a level that people know about that makes collecting double colour bombs easy I think I would have to agree with you and say there is something suspicious about those high scores.

@Kevin_Paul_Scott yep, the minute I opened up the leaderboard, the first place player was already at 8000ish, so I gave up. I believe there should be a level that would produce a lot of color bomb combos, we just don’t know

You can see from his two screenshots that there is a glitch in the event that is mixing the scores of people collecting blue candy and colour bombs together. A score of 15000 makes more sense if that player is just collecting blue candy.
To be honest the event was also glitchy in my game. As you can see from my screenshot it placed my avatar in first, third and fourth positions and didn't provide any names.

Looks like the usual massive glitches in the Weekly contest. Look below at what I got on Win 10 and my browser version. How anyone could get 3200+ CB Combos in just over 12 hours is beyond me ?? Browser version is a mess + has the same scores for the players but is showing blue candies not CB Combos ??
Also, when I played a level on my browser (blue candies) and beat the level, nothing happened, no blue candies were credited ??
