Level 903 no second Cherry

I’ve played level 903 a couple of times. I’m a quarter final qualifier for the candy cup and lost all my bonus for consecutive levels beaten because the second Cherry never falls. Why? Am I missing something *? I too screen shots with 6 & 1 moves left but no second Cherry. *.
