Beat level 3767, but game wants more coins to continue playing

I took a screen shot of the final screen of level 3767. The 1 cherry still needed is sitting on top of the arrow to win. Yet, the game say "So Close" and wants more coins to keep playing. I paid the 16 coins and completed the level without having to make a move. Why was this necessary? I should have won the level without having to spend more coins?
