We can confirm that there is currently an issue where some features, including the chocolate box, disappear from the game.
We are aware and already working on getting the feature back to you as soon as possible.

Hello folks, I am new to this community but not to CCS. I am on level 10,000+ and have been playing for years. I play several times during the day and am disappointed with the latest changes. I love challenges, individual as well as teams. I loved the fantastic 5 because we had to play as a team (even though you don’t actually know your team players). It took me months to find the right team and we almost always completed the goals. And on top I would advance in my individual game. I really miss that challenge. Now today the chocolate box is gone. I was on my last mission! I liked to be challenged, playing to just advance in a game is no fun. I will start looking for other more challenging games as I feel CCS is becoming boring. I really hope you read these feedbacks and comments and do something about it before it is too late. Thank you.

No the update took place on wednesday. Also I has 2 days left to finish my goal. I wuld have reached it in an hour or so. This is really frustrating. Every day something or the other changes and one can't be consistent in the game. The moves in the levels also often decrease without justification.
