what is happening to my tournament scoring and are there any fixes

Just popping in with a quick update on the Star Tournament issue.
The team has been working on a fix, and it should start rolling out today. Once it lands on your game, the Star Tournament should begin counting stars normally again (no more negative numbers or progress stuck at zero š¤).
Please keep an eye on your game today and let us know if things start behaving as expected. Your reports have been super helpful, so thank you for sticking with us while we get this sorted š
Just a quick update on the Star Tournament the previous round ended yesterday, and a new one has now started. If youāre not seeing your stars count yet, donāt worry, youāll first need to complete the newly released levels (episodes) before the new tournament unlocks and starts tracking progress again.
Everything should start updating normally once youāve reached the new episode. Let me know if this is not the case so I can report back š

Weāre aware that some players are currently experiencing issues with the Star Tournament where the scores are not updating correctly or in some cases showing no increase, incorrect totals, or even negative points.
Our team is already investigating this to understand whatās causing it and to get it fixed as soon as possible.

HURRAY!!! It's working and I'm happy again.
Only one downside: This process needs to be repeated each time you renter into a device (Windows) after playing from another one (Android). At least progress won't be lost this time.
After playing once from Android, things synced well here and I'm in fourth position currently. If I play once from a device, I guess this bug will be nullified. I will try and send back a comment.
UPDATE: And is from Windows too, after one playthrough. Will play more of Star Tournament soon.
Now the only mini issue I can encounter is that the leaderboard on my Windows device is completely frozen and did not sync with the Servers. On Windows, it shows me at 48 points with fewer opponents while on android it shows me with lots of points, more opponents and more of them having progress

Time has passed and nothing has changed. What should I do for this? Is there a server issue? If its that, then that explains why I got offered to start a Daily Treat Machine from my Windows machine as well.
UPDATE: After playing once from each device, the issue becomes fixed. This is not serious as the game will sync the tournament with the servers once you play the tournament at least once.

Issue has been completely fixed!!! Progresses as usual. Also, affected users were compensated with additional 30 Gold Bars which I claimed them today after opening the game on Mobile (Android) today.
Can you believe it? They actually did it! I was greeted this morning with a message that due to the bug, they're disabling it and giving us 30 gold bars compensation!
Well this has been an issue for a few weeks now. It begs the question - about with changes like the slow/fast widget and sub-threads which nobody wanted when there is a āliveā issue unresolved ?

itās been 2 weeks since the star tournament worked correctly. It continues to start with -5 on every game played within the tournament. please fix this!
Something strange happened today. For one win it progressed as usual but after losing to one it went back to 0. Does this mean that the fix is about to come soon? On neither device does Star Tournament advance.
Playing the tournament but NO advancing we all had Zero & all of a sudden someone jumped in front with 224 points! Not gonna play without getting rewarded! we should be reimbursed for what we have purchased! Player ID 2086713395

Hi All, If someone can help me. I followed the instructions about game freezing at the Star Tournament scores not working. So I uninstalled then reinstalled app on my Android phone but I lost all my boosters, which I had A LOT. Is there anyway to get them back? Please help
Yes, last week my Stars capped out at 120 and stopped counting.
This week, I'm just stuck at 0. When I win a star level, it counts from negative 6 up to 0.
Don't know if it's related, but these types of glitches always seem to happen when they bring new Pins.
It's just annoying because the Star tournament is like the only goal-type of sub game that works for the most loyal players.
Iām not getting any points for winning star tournament games. It counts down from -5 to zero
Because of this issue, Star Tournament is only useful for progressing out events that work with it like Baker's Box and Factory Frenzy. Not gonna play CCS just for this tournament if it is bugged unless I have something else to do with it (Like doing a Factory Frenzy or advancing Baker's Box on Mobile)

My score counter in star tournament is not advancing on my laptop or tablet. It is working on my cell phone. Please fix this problem.

I am sorry to hear that your Star tournament counter is not advancing on your laptop and tablet.
Could you please ensure that you have the latest version of the game installed in both devices? Please try to restart them as well.
In case you play through Facebook on a laptop, please also try playing through a different browser.

When I win levels, it starts with the number of stars(6) and counts backwards to 0 every time so I have no score, never advance. Some kind of glitch I'm guessing, but annoying just the same!
I have the same problem. I've won several games but each time I win 6 stars, the counter starts at -6 and I end up at 0. Happens on both iPad and iPhone

Star Tournament is not scoring points. Love this game, but getting so frustrating!!! Playing on a PC through facebook and I have followed all the instructions you have recommended to no avail.. You say the tournament is just a way to fill in time until the new levels are released, but one could still receive points to reach the top and get SOMETHING out of it. Why doesn't King work on problems like this? Guess I'll go to FB and get help getting a refund on my $100 to continue playing this game. It's been successful before.
I start with -6 and move up to zero.
I screen recorded the video of it as I couldnāt believe it happened. I thought it happened at the end of last week too but I wasnāt sure as I had a pretty high score

It's not redundant at all!. I think anyone posting here adds to the thread as it shows how many players are affected!
It's interesting to note that the leaders on your screenshots seem to not be affected by this glitch @Boybinary and @3family .
It makes me wonder how real they are.
This is a known issue for a lot of others this week. It appears the event is broken. I would suggest you don't spend any money. Spending money just to play the start tournament is just crazy.

update this morning. Some have added to their scores. Despite a few wins. Mine still goes from -6 to 0 on the graphic
since star tournament started this week leaderboard is frozen and every time I start with -5 points. I restarted the game many times but the problem did not fix.

Hi everyone, The last couple of days I'm not able to watch any ads (for extra moves or lives) :( did this feature disappear? I already tried re-installing the app, but after connecting the app to fb again, I lost some cassettes and still no ads :(
why is it youāve basically made it impossible to pass levels unless the player pays for extra moves??? This game has become a joke! Iāve played the level Iām on about 100 times and never came close to passing if??? Is this just a money grab at this point because it 100% feels that way!!!
