ok, maybe it's the Easter egg in level 5000. In the interview, a developer told us that there is an Easter egg hidden in level 5000. I played the level 5000 a few times, but couldn't find an Easter egg. From the next day I could play the chocolate box indefinitely.

On "is there still a 24-hour lock on the chocolate box?"
Not sure what you mean by "Lock"?
If you mean, after doing the quests, you come to the last one, then have to wait 24 Hours to do it / the last one. That has been the way I have had to do the "Chocolate Box" since I had it.
However, heard there are different time arrangements with it. Depends on the group.
I no longer have the "Chocolate Box", it left, after doing my quests, & I was on the last one, next day it was gone.
Here are my notes on it:
- Lost "Chocolate Box", on 9/2/2020! Had one more quest left to complete it, but gone now! *Has not returned yet!
Again, this is on "Win 10 Pro PC - Desktop App", I don't use wifi on gaming. The current "Version" is listed below in my "Signature".

Yeah, TBH, I’m also hesitant to let the cat out of the bag RE certain things, but sometimes you just have to take a chance, lol.
And like you’re alluding to, it’s probably just a temporary glitch, and at least right now, only affecting iOS/Apple mobile users (I wonder if Android users are maybe also experiencing this?)
I play on the mobile like 99% of the time, and not the computer, but that said, I was hesitant to try to see if this glitch could also be seen on the computer, only because I was thinking it may affect the glitch over all (i.e. because the account is synced on all my devices/computers).
Anyway, I’m sure you’re aware of a workaround (for lack of a better word) that can help you get endless boosters while playing on the computer (through Facebook), but if not, just let me know.

Just curious. Are you using an iOS Device (iPhone or iPad)? Or is it a mobile running the Android OS? Or is it a computer/Mac?
I still have this so-called “glitch” (and I hope you and others do as well), so I’ve been experimenting the last several hours and have become even more efficient in terms of collecting my candies and completing CBs. I’ve been making various screen shots of each CB I’ve completed (and I’ve been playing over and over without stopping), just so I know exactly how long it takes (and the standard iPhone photos app has the time of each picture or screen shot taken). I’ve been using various strategies as well, and have tried different levels that I knew about (other than the one I mentioned before - level 2000) and each has their own pros and cons. The great thing about level 1055 (although while not perfect) is that it has all of the colors that other levels don’t have (and these are good levels, including 3309, 1476, 1000, and 2000, etc., but you will have to go to other levels - at least most of the time - for one or more of your assignments). And when you have to go to another level, this takes more time and this is mainly because you have to scroll back up (or down) when you start a new CB assignment (and on an iPhone, this can be a bit frustrating). And I’m currently in the 7000s, so if you aren’t careful, it will take you straight to the top.
So based on my observations so far while using level 1055 (and while rare, you do sometimes have to go to other levels to complete some of the candy assignments), you can compete a CB/get rewarded in about 7-10 minutes (you have to be really fast of course).
And the thing to remember (as same may not be aware of this) - if you want the CB mini game to appear again right after you’ve just completed a CB and you’ve received your reward - is to do the following: You need to open up any level as if you’re playing, and then end it (you don’t need to make any moves), and this will automatically trigger the CB mini game to re-appear.
For candy assignments that you can’t complete on 1055 or other levels, I recommend the following levels:
250 - for the Fish
132 - for the “Nightmarishly Hard Level” (with a Blue icon)
36 - for the “Super Hard Level” (with a Blue icon)
14 - for the “Hard Level” (with a Blue icon)
Let me know if you’re still experiencing this “glitch” and thanks again for recommending level 1055.
