Can someone explain that I have just started this challenge and the top score is over 13k. After seeing those targets I have stopped playing. Why are the scores so high? There are few new levels with red candies to even compete with scores like this!

I think maybe these players are either at the bottom of the saga and crushing it or playing past levels with most red candies.
I agree seems a very high target for red candies and definitely demotivating and especially as it's only 11am.
