Hey there, welcome to the forum; here's a video for this level, YMMV.
Normally you'd wanna fill up the booster bot/space dash thing before starting the level; but since that's virtually impossible now (& unless you get a lucky board), you might be screwed at the moment (for advancing).
But since this is a lower level, you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.

Level 688
This level have normal difficulty and you need to use good strategy to complete this level. For this level you should try to play near to cake to break them or make colorbomb or wrapped candy and combine them with striped candy to break the time bomb. Use more special candy combo trick to break the jellies to reach the requirement.
As much as you can is destroy Cake first to help clear candy boom

For Level 688, I would say this level is either somewhat hard or hard. If you know candycrush.fandom.com, you probably know the difficulty:
- None (First Level: 1)
- Very Easy (First Level: 2)
- Easy (First Level: 19)
- Somewhat Easy (First Level: 23)
- Medium (First Level: 35)
- Somewhat Hard (First Level: 63)
- Hard (First Level: 104)
- Very Hard (First Level: 241)
- Extremely Hard (First Level: 688)
- Nearly Impossible (First Level: 2005)
