Tiffi's First Night on the Mango Sorbet Island
Tiffi squinted at the glimmering object ahead. It was hard to make it out, especially in rainy and windy nights. But suddenly, a smile stretched across her face from ear to ear. She just couldn't believe it: the object really was a mango sorbet island! The island appeared to be about thirty square miles, and the land was made of sorbet, with drenched palm trees. There were no rocks, which suited Tiffi; otherwise, it would be hard to get onto the island. She paddled toward what looked like a candy-made deck. Soon, she has reached the beach because the boat was stuck on the sand. She hopped out and dragged the boat inland.
Tiffi walked to a beach that had the candy-written word "Welcome." She wondered if it anyone else was here; despite the fact that Tiffi loved mango sorbet, she felt so strange. It was still raining hard, but Tiffi was glad to see that the island had shelter; there were some mango sorbet mountains inland and many palm trees. Tiffi did not think she might be able to return to Candy Town for a while, so she needed to make herself a home. Tiffi has never done things like this before but was eager to start.
First, Tiffi had to find a place to build her very own candy house. In the montane mountain forest seemed like a good place. She also wanted a river. Tiffi took a walk around the island, trying to find her location. The riparian area was not a good place because there were too many sour-looking soda bottles that Tiffi did not want to touch at all. Then she found out that an even better place to build her house was not the montane forest because there were too many gummy bears. She found another river, a lemonade river, near a cone-shaped strawberry hill. There were only a few palm trees, which made Tiffi feel safer. Tiffi thought she must be near the center of the island because the waves were barely heard. Then Tiffi got to work. Lollipop sticks were scattered near a lemonade pond, and she used them to build a large portion of her house. Then she used licorice fences and built herself a garden, where she would grow lollipops. She finished in about three hours and admired her own candy house.
It was only several weeks before Christmas, so Tiffi had added candy snowflakes and candy canes. Suddenly, Tiffi had a very unusual feeling. She loved this island very much. She loved all the candy, and there was something she has not done yet! Tiffi abandoned looking at her house and threw herself into the delicious mango sorbet and drank lemonade from the pond. It was still raining, but Tiffi somehow thought it was not water. She looked up and saw that it was raining color bombs! Tiffi let all the candy fall to her tongue when...she opened her eyes. She had been dreaming after she built her house. Tiffi woke up to find that she was very, very tired from all the exploring and building. She had been laying on the mango sorbet. She got up and tested the candy door; it worked very well.
Tiffi looked at her new candy bedroom. Her bed had lollipop railings and the floor was almost entirely covered with gummy candy or small, circle pieces. She had made her very own desk, too. The house overall was, in her opinion, just beautifully sweet.
She also held hands with the gummy bears and danced with them. She made her own jelly fish aquarium. "It's a really sweet first night," Tiffi said. And that was true.
