@badger_71 Hi and welcome, would try suggestions from above, but it maybe that since Facebook did a platform update there have been issues with peoples avatars loading. This may be another reason why some of your friends are not showing in the game. This issue is being investigated but there is no time frame on a fix

It happens with me too until your network connection is good and account is synchronized with facebook.
You will see your friends back when connect with server properly
