Force closing does not repair the fault. According to other posts only reinstall permits yoy to pkay again but all boosters are lost, which is not an option for me. There has to be an update to
Apparently the only way to sort it is reinstalling but i am not recommending that because of loss of boosters. So i guess just restart your games and be patient for a solution.
Hiya there @Romadean please be patient and lets hope this problem gets resolved soon. It is probably a bug with the current update and it is being investigated.

This happened to me. I saved my progress and reinstalled the app and all of my boosters were lost! SUPER disappointing. I don’t hoard my boosters but I got a few good ones for passing a major milestone and never got a chance to use them... such a bummer. Would love to see them get restored or give some free boosters for this mess.

Yes, this is already being looked into and hopefully fixed soon.
Have you tried force closing/ force stopping the app, then restart the device and open the game again? That should help.

For facebook game try logging out the game and clearing the browser history and then restarting your device and see if this solves the issue
For android device, clear the cache from the app store and then log out and restart your device and see if this helps
For iphone ipad, try clearing the cache in safari and log out and restart your device to see if this helps
If this does not work the only option at present is to wait for a fix or to reinstall

You can try logging out and clearing the cache of your game and then restart your device and log back in and see if this solves the issue
There have been people saying reinstalling solves the issue but if you do this you will LOSE any stored BOOSTERS and LIVEs
