Level 8606 harder on iPhone?

Hello,
I’ve been playing level 8606 quite a few times, not even coming close to finishing even with some boosters.
Since it’s supposed to be a medium difficulty level I took a look in YouTube to see if there were any hints, but all I did see was that the level was easier. On iPhone there are quite a few liquorices locks that are not there on the examples I looked at, making it a lot harder.
Can this be fixed?

@Weatherson78 Hi Again, If a level is amended it is across all platforms so guess this has recently been made harder as no videos of this version yet. See how it makes it a lot trickier with the locked licorice, but hopefuly you will get that lucky board and pass the level

The video that you've watched may be outdated and sometimes King may change the feature in the game board including the rating of that level.
I hope the latest video shared by SBH is useful. I personally do not have specific strategy in completing a level but try to always adopt the following general tips below:-
- Take your time and focus on the board.
- Study the game board before and throughout the game. Always play at the lowest level of the game board to enable more candies to drop from the top. This gives you the opportunities to create special candies such as striped/wrapped/color bomb. Combining a color bomb with either a striped or wrapped candy will destroy any blockers.
- Activate the hint under the setting. It helps to highlight candies formation for color bombs that we usually miss out.
- Stay calm and be patience. Yes, our mood does affect the game! Take a short break if you're getting frustrated or tired of trying.
- Hope for a lucky game board.

@Weatherson78 Hi and welcome, On the later levels you will see a lot of levels changed from online videos as the pre released windows 10 app is used for data and feedback for this levels and some will get amended either to make them harder or easier by the time they reach the mobile/Facebook game.
The video supplied by @SBH is the latest i can see available so hopefully this will help give you some hints and tips on completing the level. It is not easy and can take a few attempts and that lucky board will always come in handy. I would also say that if you get close do not be afraid to use 1 or 2 boosters as sometimes these later levels can be a nightmare

The video shows quite well how to beat it, and I would like to think I could do that without too much of a problem, but as you can see from the picture the task of getting the first key when surrounded by locks does make it a bit harder. Maybe there are no videos of that version because noone actually beat it?
I had a round where I had all kinds of luck and came within 7. I will keep trying but never been a fan of levels where you depend on luck :-)

Has anyone played this recently and won on iOS?
Cant get close
the level has changed to be impossible to win
The videos show needing to only clear 52 icings the keys except for one are at the bottom.
Now it’s classed as a nightmare level
There are 25 moves and you have to clear 158 icings with blockers and licorice curls on them
The keys are one in the middle
one on the left
one at the bottom
stuck for days
i suspect there are no videos of current level because it cannot be won.

I went back and tried it again now, and passed on the first try.
Started with color bomb and striped/wrapped, since I had an hour free on both.
After that it's just much to do with luck. If you can combine a color bomb with a wrapped candy I think that might be the most helpful combination.
