Orange Screen flashes on Candy Crush Saga then goes back to my desktop on my IPad.

Hi,

I have an iPad thats running the latest iOS and it is up to date. As is my Candy Crush Saga game. I also have plenty of space and memory for the game. I have been playing Candy Crush Saga on my iPad for 1 year and am over level 3300. Suddenly yesterday when I click on the Candy Crush desktop icon the orange screen with the word KING flashes for a moment then goes back to by desktop.

I’ve tried all suggestions on this website as well as others with the exception of uninstalling/reinstalling the game. I’m afraid of losing all my progress in the game if I do so. There is no way for me to back up the game since I can’t open it.

Please Help.

@meg1943 Hi and welcome, if you have your game saved with a king or Facebook account your progress will be safe and your gold bars , but uninstalling you would LOSE any stored BOOSTERS or LIVES.

The only way i know with iphone is backing the device up to the cloud and then restoring from a back up which can get everything back as i have done this but we can not guarantee this will work.

If you have done the standard troubleshooting tips do not think there is much else you can do

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Ipads. However, the error also occurs when an add blocker is installed.
