Can someone at development team can advise me what am I missing here. How am I supposed to get 20 bricks, so other 36 waffles can be smashed. It's bug in the system.

When designers or game studio are fully aware that they are going to CHANGE CORRECT level obviously it MEANS that they have learnt that it has been a good way to lower player's booster count and gold count and remove win streak and for some, purchasing boosters and/or extra moves.
This has become a regular 'issue' with each new weekly release ... Just a scam
Sad to say this Until people stop feeding them money it will continue.. Unfair to the players

Is it really that much tough 8996. I'll remember everyone words .. when I'm going to play it's war time then.. now I'm in 8900.. waiting for new levels..

Albert_Heinrich How did you get 80 Waffle that is something unusual. I have tried numerous reboots, all the updates but still getting 100. if I am not wrong everyone gets 100 so not sure why they assigned you 80. May be you have some special privileges'.
With that being said, all we can do is enjoy the weekend because it won't be fixed until Monday. Very shameful that Game Studio and Designers won't pay attention on player's feedback...

I beat Level 8969 on 3rd March 2021, at that day I did not encounter this kind of shortage in waffles.

Well, I have one account on two laptops. Both are unplayable (left one: not enough moves, right one: not enough waffles)

Try watching some of the videos posted 2 days ago. It was really really really bad. They added stripe dispensers at the top so now it's a lot easier to hit the spawners.

8969 may as well be rated as the stupidly hard level. Its nigh on impossible without boosters, which, of course, King managed to take away with their sneaky and underhanded tactic of making the level impossible for a brief period.
Also, the new waffle design is absolutely awful too.

@Purvi_Macwan, the total order was 116. There was only 80 on the board to fill the locked order, excluding the locked ones. The locked orders were 50 and 100. I was short by 20. Used the LH to smash my way through 20, at a cost. I doubt if they will refund.

Yep; another week of fun, absolutely...
And the behaviour of the episode/fast race this time was the same as the previous week (40 GB awarded instead of 60), no changes there.

Levels get buffed to increase the frustration level of players; & also to see how willing players are to use extra boosters/gold bars on 'em (defenders of the game call it increasing the challenge).
When sufficient negative feedback is received for any particular levels, then they'll get nerfed to their (nearly) original (& playable) formats...
