There are some issues with Apple app right now and you will find the latest information here.
Thanks!
Hello there, @mburl !
You are not the only one having issues with CCS and CCSS on iPhone iOS. Mine loads but crashes after finishing a level and goes back to Home Page. There were times when it lets me watch an ad after a failed level but crashes right after I watched the 30 seconds ad. It is crazy! This is the reason why I only have a few NEW videos of CCS and CCSS on YouTube. I already uninstalled and re-installed the App but it didn't fix anything. I lost all my gift of lives from friends and stashed boosters in the process. Windows 10 Version is working but I don't get Boosters and Gold Bars there. It is unfortunate but I think my CCS and CCSS fun is over.
@mburl Hi and welcome, Do not think anyone knows when the fix for this will be made , but hopefully it will be soon. i know a quick fix is to reinstall the app, but in doing this you LOSE any stored BOOSERS and LIVES, Also some people report the error returns so guess it is one we need to be patient with. I use an old iphone 6 to play the game and touch wood no issues for me at present
Uninstalling and re-installing no longer fix the issue. I've done it myself. It would have been nice if these do. Losing BOOSTERS & LIVES DO NOT MATTER ANYMORE because if you can't play what good will these be. FYI on the IDIOM you used for future reference. It should be KNOCK ON WOOD, not touch wood.
@mercerik Hi, I am unsure on this as a few have reported it does not work but not seen many posts saying it does not, but again i already knew you had said this and you are not alone a few others said the same, Fixes but issue then comes back and i am only going by official CM reply to this error on another post
In UK we also say touch wood not heard the knock on wood much.
Thank you
I'll be darned, you were right - TOUCH WOOD is existing, a British counterpart for KNOCK ON WOOD, a superstitious phrase spoken when one has acknowledged some good fortune and wishes the good fortune to continue.
I reinstalled. Worked for a few days. Stuck again. They WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE. They keep acting like it’s the first time they have heard it. SHAME ON YOU
