When I try to play it says error trying to connect to Amazon Appstore.

sorry do not know if this is an amazon issue or not but you may need to contact customer support, i have not seen an unknown error, help quit, but kindle is the only device i do not play

This is the only kindle connection information i can find, if nothing here does not help you in posts below you will need to contact customer support as not seen that issue before, Does look like a kindle issue though
