The Piggy Bank has not been removed, but as all extra features and sale offers the Piggy Bank may at times take a break from the game.Stay tuned, it will soon be back in your games.
Please see post below as this will explain this issue to you, but basically a new feature called candy connections being added to the game

Try checking your device and game are up to date and log out and restart your device and then log back in and see if your piggy bank reappears. If not you will find this only temporary and the piggy bank will return to your game.
As for the friends feature hopefully the game studio will finally resolve this issue, but until they do there is nothing we can do about this and there are many people also with this issue

Piggy Bank is a test feature which means that this feature is not available in everyone's game and is not always available. Moreover, even if it is available in your game, if there is a connection problem in your game, you will miss Piggy Bank.
Since your game also has Lives exchange issue, I'm sure your game app has a connection problem. In this case you should follow the steps below and let me know if you get any error message while following the steps.
Check app update - Log out game - Restart your device - Open game and Log in.
