Check you device is up to date also and log out and restart you device and then try logging back in and see if this resolves the issue. also try disconnecting your WIFI for 30 seconds and then reconnecting

Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
