If its on king.com you do not get a game ID just use your registered email for this account or if you on app see below on getting your game ID. send a message to customer support with your issue and level you were on and they will restore your levels to your new account

This is a strange one. I thought my account has been opened through King but one of my friends has just said that he can see my facebook profile pic on his Candy Crush now (but on my partner's level). I am now thinking that maybe I went through Facebook years ago when I first started playing Candy Crush. Could there be another solution? If it is set up through Facebook what should I do? Appreciating everyone's help here, although very frustrating

@Ginger1972 If you had a facebook account and you partner had a king account, you games can get merged but the facebook game always overwrites the king game. so for me it would be your partners game that would have changed not yours.
Your best bet is contact support and see if they can solve the issue with your old account and if not they can then restore you new account
