@ImTheCookie I guess this is yet another case of the connection issues which are troubling the players this week on multiple features (chocolate box, sam's streak etc.) All you can try for now is the standard troubleshooting:
Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
