If you are on a mobile device please do the standard trouble shooting.
->Log out, update your game application, restart your device and login, if playing through browser please clear cache / history. And login again.
Win 10 should auto update but you may have clear "cache / history" if you are playing through a browser.
Please do not uninstall the app, you will lose boosters and gold bars as they are stored in your device memory
Also Note: A new game update is scheduled to be released Oct 13. This may fix your issue

My Candy Chronicles is stuck and will not move from 8/8, but I continue playing my game on Windows 10 device.
What kind of device are you using?
General update info below
First install any updates for both your device and game app. Then clear the cache/history of your web browser. Then follow the steps below.
Open your Saga Game / Select Profile / Select Log Out / Close the app / Reopen the app / Log back in to your profile / Open the game.
Remember to not uninstall the app, you will lose boosters and gold bars as they are stored in your device memory
