I am beyond frustrated. Candycrush Saga will absolutely not connect to facebook on my ipad.

Uninstalled and reinstalled both apps multiple times and rebooted ipad.  All updates have been applied.  Nothing.  All i got for my trouble is that I am back to level one and no possible way to connect to the facebook account.  Even then I have lost ten levels because that's where FB quit working with CCS.  This is obviously a known issue with a lot of frustrated users for months now.  Is there a fix or am I just done with this game?  This is supposed to be a relaxing fun game and it has become nothing but frustration with the bugs.
