I’m just asking him a question regarding the badges of the months because he’s been making them ever since Badge of the Month began, and now that he’s leaving I’m just curious who’s taking over. So remind me again how I’m not “letting him enjoy his last 2 days”? Am I not allowed to ask questions? Jeez….

Well, a lot of people think something similar (& for those that don't, they're lying to themselves); but good on you for having the cojones to actually say/write it.
Keep on keeping on; it's refreshing to speak/write truth to power in here (& see it), even though that goes against the mostly artificial/fake/nonsensical/unrealistic BS that makes up the community nowadays...
