Team of 5 feature gone?

Hello all!

Last year I had a wonderful take 5 team (playing on my iPhone) consisting of some irl friends and connected through Facebook. This summer I want to join another team, but the feature is gone! I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app, logging in and out of Facebook, there’s just nowhere for me to click to join a team.

does anyone know how to fix this or know a work around? My friend has sent me the sign up link many times but the link never works since my account seems to lack the ability to even do the 5 person team! Help!!!

The Fantstic 5 feature is not permanent in the game, which is why it may disappear for some time and then suddenly return. You can't accept your friend's request because you don't have the feature at the moment.

The way friends work in the app also changed a few months ago, that may be part of the issue!

Fantastic 5 REAPPEARED in my game. I messaged some people who had stopped playing to tell them and by the time I got back to the game it had gone again. What's going on?

Anyone noticed the same?
