Cannot purchase anything - Candy Crush fails to contact store

I am unable to purchase anything in Candy Crush - I get the error message "Failed to Contact Store". This only started a couple of days ago and is VERY frustrating (although probably saving me lots of $$). I have more than enough gold bars but need to buy hammers and switches. Nothing seems to work. Please advise

Hi kznailz, there are quite a few glitches at the moment and the studio is trying to find some resolutions. It might have affected the purchasing. No one else has reported this yet here but I will keep my eyes open for the next couple of days to see if anyone reports this purchasing issue.

Elsa,I am having this issue on a LG V30 Android phone. I also tried to buy the gold bars in my bank with no success (just the blue circle going round and round - no final error message). Unfortunately in trying to trouble shoot it I lost all the prizes I had accumulated - really upsetting! I just tried to buy hammers on my Microsoft Surface and had no issues.Hi kznailz, there are quite a few glitches at the moment and the studio is trying to find some resolutions. We all have our favorite apps and we use them daily. Over some period of time, the cache will pile up, and you may notice the app is running slow or freezing or crashing frequently.That often happens when we are using some of the most popular apps such as Facebook, king games etc. Once you delete the cache, the app will work normally.Here is what you need to do:Go to SettingsTap on Apps (App Manager, Manage apps, depending on the Android device)Find the app candy crush sagaNext, tap Clear cacheTap Force stopGo back to the Home screen and launch the app again.
