Thank you Jelly Jenny.........l just hope that you are right. Many months ago I was told that I would get my “reset” back..............still waiting For this , once again I am not holding my breath .....sorry!
Jelly Jenny why do we have to wait until mid-August for you to review the comments? How could anyone including the people who decided to make this change possibly think it is a good ideal. Although I must admit, the change has made me lose interest in play saga. Therefore I have more time for other things and I am saving money, because I would buy the gold bars.
Well, in the mean time, I won't be playing anymore. It's no longer fun and as many others have said, it frees up a lot of my time. So, until it goes back to how it was, peace out.
went to the link, found timed sugar drops, said 197 votes, active, when I clicked on active told page could not be found. have yet to see anything that said vote.
In case you haven't voted - please make sure you also vote in the poll to get rid of timed sugar drops.
With 21 pages of complaints (315 posts) why do you feel it necessary for us to vote when it's perfectly clear by the number of posts in this thread players are not happy with Timed Sugar Drops. Surely the message couldn't be clearer. Someone from King should make a post HERE if for nothing else to acknowledge they have misjudged players reactions.

Over on the Soda Saga page we have 90+ pages of completely negative responses to one of their features dating back to February and they still have done nothing about it. The mods even stopped responding, IMO because the feedback was so bad.
As for these timed sugar drop “rewards” they’re a complete joke. It’s clearly an attempt by King to force players to purchase boosters. I’ve noticed recently - at least in the 4 King games that I play - that prices for those foolish enough to pay actual money for virtual goods have increased greatly. The useless “piggy bank” in particular which is unable to be unlocked in all 4 games.
Yes the message that we are unhappy is quite clear but it’s doubtful that anything will change unless King notices a revenue drop in the test group that has been burdened by this timed “reward” feature.
tl;dr - If you, like me, are stuck in the timed booster test group do not under any circumstances spend money to play this game.

Almost afraid to reply...in case they mess me up again. Things are still back to normal for me....except...
They gave me back the beanstock and took away my "feed, bake thingamigger", but it was at 5/6 and I was waiting to collect 6/6 and had 35 hours left when it disappeared. That was like STEALING my reward from me.
But no more timed sugar drops anymore ....been back to normal for s good couple of weeks now.
If they can do it for me, why not everyone else???
Just how wealth is the King 👑 How much do you think he makes in a day?
According to the documents King Digital Entertainment filed recently, Candy Crush Saga generates a brain exploding $3.5 million EVERY DAY. That's $105 million per month. That's $1.26 billion per year. Please let that sink in for a moment. $1.26 billion per year, from a silly little iPhone game.
In 2011, just three short years ago, the entire company earned a grand total of $64 million. In 2012, the year Candy Crush Saga was released, revenues shot up to $164 million. In 2013 the company earned a staggering $1.88 billion. In 2014, the company is on pace to earn $2.5 billion. Just how much is enough for the King?
But the Wizard Behind Curtain is Activision Blizzard (ATVI) who bought King in November 2016
In the latest trading session, Activision Blizzard (ATVI) closed at $47.19, marking a +0.7% move from the previous day. According to Barons:
“Activision Blizzard stock is down nearly 40% from one year ago. But an attractive content cycle and less competition for this year’s Call of Duty title could make now a good time to step in, according to one analyst.”
I agree with @Dirty_Nurse. I don't think they are going to go back to untimed boosters. The newer games that I am familiar with have them. It probably makes it a lot easier for them in terms of the information they have to maintain for each user, which is especially important for users who purchase boosters.
Once the timed boosters appeared for me, I stopped playing CC because I could no longer play it the way I wanted to (and have been for the last 3 or 4 years). I went back to a couple of other King games, one of which, CC Soda, has the timed boosters. They're just as useless in CC Soda as they are in CC. So why do I continue with CC Soda, and not CC? Because I was attached to CC and they way I played it. I am not attached CC Soda. If I stopped tomorrow I wouldn't miss it; I'd find something else (I actually play because it helps to lower my blood pressure.)
Yes, a lot of people have been vocal about the timed boosters. However, what percentage is this of the total number of players, and does that really change their bottom line. I'm skeptical, and so I don't think we'll get the change reversed. But I'm quite happy to be proved wrong!
On another site it is strongly suggesting that only timed boosters are given to those who don’t/haven’t paid any money. In spite of all these objections I still am not holding my breath that the normal boosters will be returned after mid August........
