No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

That was interesting! Now, I am beginning to wonder if there were really prizes for the contests they recently presented and sent to players from inside the game thru Survey Monkey. I wasted my time putting up videos for these 2 recent ones. Unfortunately, the only prize that I got was a Tiffi Digital Sketch that I can make myself as well. Whoopee dooI What a prize! I was obviously fooled into believing that their intentions were real and honest to goodness.😠 I've been had! 😞😞😞 Anyway, I used this sketch to relay my message in one of my comments here. This was also the reason why a member mistakenly accused me of working for King. I guess that was a curse.

Thanks for the fix which was definitely needed. Time to get back to work now instead of wasting on crushing candies. Will see you after few months when the game is broken again.

In my personal opinion. This is just a way to ensure we spend money on more boosters and lives. Y’all won’t be getting a dime for me. There’s a never ending amount of levels so I’m in no rush to complete them. Take my advice log in get your daily spin and gift. Lose your first life on purpose so the life clock counts down immediately. Play until your out of lives. Then switch apps. I play toon blast and free cell. Remember people there’s no rush and no need to buy anything. Just stock up on the free boosters they give you. When you feel the need to buy something switch apps.

Due to the abhorrent changes to this game, I no longer spend much time or spend money on this game. Y'all screwed the pooch on this latest update. Thanks for the cure to my candy crush addiction.

to be honest i have never spent any penny on the Candy crush saga game,
been playing for 3 years now and am at level 4135, guess that's why I move slowly!
but invest in alot of time.

Which platform are you playing CC on if you don’t mind telling? I haven’t seen this on my iPad but maybe it’s not up to date on the latest CC version. Seems like a pretty sweet deal....Another reason why CC needs to be consistent on all platforms. 😉👍

Thank you King to made this "Fix". Before this change, I spent many time to play Candy Crush. Now, after 5 lives that soon ending, I close the game and do other things more important for the rest of the day. The exact opposite of what you would like to achieve with this "Fix".

I thought I was coming here to find a solution but I see that King did this on purpose. But to try to pass it off as “never intended to be that way” is dishonest. I’ve been playing this game since 2013 and have passed over 4200 levels. I’ve watched this game go through MANY updates. Surely if the game was “never intended to be that way” they would’ve “fixed” it a long time ago. This is just another tactic to get money. When a developer removes a feature you’ve used during 6 years of game play, it makes you not even want to play any more.

King doesn't care one bit about its players. They only care about their shareholders. This move was done for monetary reasons alone. They're a corporation -- and corporations aren't really known much for having any decency.

The reset feature is never coming back. If you listen closely, you can hear them laughing all the way to the bank.

CC may show an increase in the number of players but maybe the money they made decreased which is my hope. It’s just the money they care about...not the number of players. Don’t let them fool you.

No proper response from the “managers” , NOTHING from the actual studio! I have seen people here pour there hearts out! For goodness sake give us a proper response! 65 pages!!!!

Nothing more than a money grab.

The reset function at least gave us TINY opportunity to string some wins together. I have paid money, I admit, to keep that win streak going and I had fun doing it!

After this “fix” not another cent more.

Samsung Note 5 (Haha, nearly as old as me) Android - Western Australia.

Also- timed boosters I didn't care too much about - plenty of changes I liked and didn't like - but the no resetting the board is a deal breaker for me entirely.

I agree with someone earlier who said - "Its now just a game of chance, may as well play slots."

And now the complete arrogance shown by not doing anything about it or even having the balls to acknowledge the client base outrage, closer and closer now to just deleting altogether.

Got better things to do anyway, they shouldn't have drawn our attention to how much time we've all lost staring at a phone over the last 5 years. Nearly 7 for me. Do you know how much we could have achieved in the time we spent at CCS?

Is anyone else now thinking about what they could do in the next month when we choose to not get angry at candy crush screens?

why is it you’ve basically made it impossible to pass levels unless the player pays for extra moves??? This game has become a joke! I’ve played the level I’m on about 100 times and never came close to passing if??? Is this just a money grab at this point because it 100% feels that way!!!
In app purchases
Cannot make in app purchases. Works one day then goes for weeks with “cannot connect”. I’ve tried all the suggested fixes but nothing works! King is losing money. Please fix!
