No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

Hi Jethrina!

In the Game Map, the Power-Ups are represented by the Wheel which is why I call it the Wheel of Power-Ups. The Sweet Supplies have a Backpack Icon so I call it Backpack of Sweet Supplies and the Fun Events has a Gold Cup Icon so I call it Gold Cup Of Fun Events. These just make sense, don't they?

As I said in my comments to @LuckyMe1189 , "we don't have any control on Timed Boosters when we get them. If we get Color Bombs and Striped and Wrapped Candy Combinations, oftentimes they get automatically used in the Pre-Play Page. The Swedish Fish and the Coconut Wheels don't. The Coconut Wheels oftentimes get Timed-Out in the Backpack of Sweet Supplies which is awful."

Unfortunately, the CM does not consistently respond to inquiries here or something else which is what I noticed. He sent me a message on December 16 accusing me of urging the members here to boycott Candy Crush Saga. I responded to his message on the same day telling him that "Never in my postings did I urge people to Boycott Candy Crush Saga. If you think I did, please point to it. Other people in the thread did that, not me. I love this game, otherwise I would not have posted thousands of videos on YouTube. I think you misunderstood my comments."

I understand that he is still new to this job and just learning the ropes. In his short period of time here, he should not accuse anyone unless he is sure. He can't rely on Hear Say especially from people who has ax to grind. I believe my messages were ignored. So, I am not surprised if we don't hear from him on this thread at all. I think this is how it is going to be from now on. His silence is deafening!

For me, declining the Boosters by closing the app is not a good idea. I've done that before accidentally, not paying attention to what I was doing since I am in the habit of multi-tasking. I miss out on the boosters. I thought I would get them back but didn't. It is better to accept them while they are around and let them time-out if I can't play. Sometimes I get 2 one-time use boosters when they timed-out which is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. 😊 As far as the Sugar Drops, I like the New Feature better because I don't have to claim the Boosters right away unlike the old one. If it is not Timed, you can bank it. However, if it is Timed, it will only stay in your Backpack of Sweet Supplies at the amount of time given.

One more thing, we don't have any control on Timed Boosters when we get them. You have ruined my Christmas

Just went through 5 quick lives with timed boosters, that were of no help, on level 5330. I’ve been stuck on this level for a week and refuse to use any of my boosters or gold bars. I got down to where I could’ve used 5 hammers to pass the level, but I’m not giving King the satisfaction.

Reverse the “fix” in January after King comes back from holiday! I know that I would be giving coal to the King Studio this Xmas.

Anyways, I wish everyone in the community and your families a merry Christmas and happy holidays! 2020 is going to be awesome! 🤟

I hope King loves his empty stocking in the morning. He has been awful naughty this year with all his fixes so a stocking full of coal is all he deserves. That is my two cents which is more than he deserves. Good night. Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas.

It's very unlikely that it's being kept open because they intend to consider changing back. At this point even with the posts of users here sniping at one another there's still a metric butt tonne of posts to make it clear that no one is buying the "fix" excuse, and the players don't like it.

I just got home from the movie. It is Star Wars. It is always good in my book. I am a fan. I played the Star Wars Video Game with my son as he was growing up.

The Timed Boosters timed-out. I don't really care. I wouldn't skip watching a movie with my son just to beat CCS levels.

), I did post in this thread way back around... the 50-something page mark, I think, but it was just a short quip about alternate meanings of "fix".

Anyway, I'm keeping a somewhat casual eye on this thread, but I'm not holding my breath on anything. Blue as a skin color only works if you're a cartoon animal or your paycheck is signed by James Cameron.

I used to buy every now and then (to the collective tune of about a kilobuck over time), but I see no reason to further reward King for their flipping the bird to the players.

I can't help but wonder if King employees are reading this thread and... um, pleasuring themselves at all the complaints.

It's very unlikely that it's being kept open because they intend to consider changing back. At this point even with the posts of users here sniping at one another there's still a metric butt tonne of posts to make it clear that no one is buying the "fix" excuse, and the players don't like it.

I just got home from the movie. It is Star Wars. It is always good in my book. I am a fan. I played the Star Wars Video Game with my son as he was growing up.

The Timed Boosters timed-out. I don't really care. I wouldn't skip watching a movie with my son just to beat CCS levels.
