No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

@Pounawea If we do not hear from you on Monday or by Friday at the very latest, then this whole community thread is BS! People are upset and the game is no longer fun. I just spent a week trying to pass 5330 which is considered a”normal” level. No one will spend money on this game. I’m sure King is happy creating more levels while we are stuck on these stupid levels. Please give an official announcement like you promised weeks ago!

So if you exit Windows10, this is the screen you get? Are all the buttons non-responsive or only the "Continue with Facebook" one? And how do you access the game on Windows 10 (am not using that OS)? Don't you need here a button that says "log in with window 10"?

I haven’t played either, I just log on daily for the free boosters until there’s an official word from someone that matters. CMs are useless on these forums as all they do is “relay information to the studio” and then proceed to ignore player feedback for weeks on end. They’re simply pawns in King’s ultimate game of trying to extract maximum revenue from gullible players of their completely free-to-play games.

As I wrote in my first post I just wanted an even playing field. I would buy boosters occasionally if I was having a nice winning streak. I was playing to stop the pain of losing my husband and feeling lost. I am still unable to sleep all night and the pain is still there BUT I will not buy another piggy bank or boosters. I haven't gave them a dime since I started posting here. I am enjoying giving the powers that be my two cents worth of grief. It was made clear the other night that I got under someone's skin. I loved this game and it was a big diversion when I was waiting in doctor's office, hospital, ReHab and finally Hospice where I lost the one person that allowed me to grow and to speak up when I saw something wrong.

Well "KING" you are so wrong in what you did to this game. You would think someone in their Headquarters would give us an answer to the questions that we have ask. Please don't come back with the answer you gave me the other night that I should read what was said here. That wasn't an answer it was one of his minions saying what he was told.

That's my two cents for tonight. Good Night and Sweet Dreams of Crushing the game by not spending another dime.

I want to play as much as possible. Unfortunately, my Candy Crush
Saga Windows 10 App all of a sudden not synced with Facebook.
My App is all messed-up. My friends in the Progress Page were
replaced with Computer Dummies. I can fix this but I don't have
the time right now since I am working on Adobe Flash Player
How To Videos that will cover the platform until Adobe
pulls the plug on this on December 31, 2019.

I have a feeling that this was purposely done to annoy
me since I am supporting this cause. If they are,
they are succeeding because I am beginning to
lose interest in this game. I am still posting CCS
Game Videos on YouTube that I already recorded.
I might venture on other games this coming 2020.

They are the only option to play and get boosters of any sort for me. I've had no ad videos since November. I will not pay to play a free game, but that's a personal choice. Those that can, do. I can't. The ridiculous number of inconsistencies is why I came to this discussion and that's when I found out they'd also taken the reset. I haven't been playing for years like many others, but I've been playing daily for a few months and for me it's a mental health break. Yeah, I can find other stuff to do, but the strategy keeps my brain occupied just enough, the frustrating levels are lamented with my partner in crime. Mom is waaaaaay behind me and I help her with the bomby levels. Truthfully, I didn't even know I COULD reset the board until a couple of weeks before they "fixed" it. I have friends that have played since it was born and THEY didn't know about it. Of course, within days of sharing it with them IT'S GONE. I was PIST when my ad videos and spin for moves after you fail a level "features" disappeared after an update. Mom has never had them on her tablet but still has them on her phone. Yeah, I've said it before in this discussion thread. Like everyone else I feel like I'm banging my head on a brick frickin wall.
It's not going to get me to buy boosters. It's not gonna get me to visit any of their ad sponsors EVER, even if they come back.
But I will find every single possible way to cheat my way through every single level. Not playing is only hurting the person that's NOT playing. Not PAYING is what's going to hurt King.
I want my freaking stupid inane repetitive ads back! I just want to play THIS stupid game the same way I was playing it when I first loaded the freaking APP!!

Do you have Tiffi's Season's stockings in the events menu under the Trophy? Where the Space Race is...? Or, do you have the Booster Bot? Just curious. I have the stockings. My Mom does not.

I have the stockings unless I skip a day. Then I go back to the beginning, play super easy levels, go look, and there are the stockings again. Fortunately or unfortunately, my Fantastic Five are actually winning and getting the points, I get the prize as I’m only occasionally playing. Which means plenty of people are still playing.

This game is free. There’s no need to spend money in the first place; doing so is foolish.

As to your point, thanks for adding your voice to the rest of us who despise this company for changing the rules of their game 7 years after its release. It’s clear that people are playing less thanks to the lack of points being accrued in the useless “team” feature fauxtastic five. If you’re like many of us you’ll simply find other ways to spend your free time until King comes to their senses and reverts gameplay to its original state.

Normally, I do not post to boards, however I feel I have to give my input so I created an account to post. With this king change, I no longer spend any money, my progress is pathetic, my fantastic 5 bless their souls, have stalled. I no longer find pleasure playing candy crush. Wow. So happy to have this “team” I was fortuitously gifted. With just 16 hours left in the week we have a grand total of 125 points! I have 50(even though I log on daily to accrue free boosters in case the game returns to being playable again in the future - should be 175) and one other fantastic player has 75. The other 3 fabulous players obviously have 0, bless their hearts.

The trend you mentioned Jules of people not actually playing certainly seems to be getting worse from what I can see. Perhaps we will get some answers in 2020.

The Fauxtastic five does give you new “teammates” if the final goal isn’t met. Since they took away the strategic reset feature I have noticed a drastic drop off in points scored so it’s not just me that hasn’t been playing it’s apparently many others as well. Other players must be noticing this too.

Yep. I had the same group for the longest time and 2 of us completed it everytime. But since the change, no one plays anymore. My whole fantastic 5's scores are multiples of 25 - the amount you get to log in and collect your daily booster. Lmao. I hope that's all anyone is doing.

It's not only different from device to device, it's also different from Android to iOS and Windows 10. Having such differences between the platforms isn't the real issue. They operate differently, hence the difference in some gameplay. But there is NO logical reason, other than greed, for the game to be so vastly different from player to player. The "we're trying out a feature" line is completely and utterly insulting to the intelligence of every player affected by King's whimsical decisions.

Under "King" rules what device you play may determine how you get booster, lives, gold bars. I never had to watch a video, in fact I didn't realize it was even an option. I feel as I am being cheated. Good Luck everyone!! I don't see anything positive coming my way, maybe you all are luckier than me.

We live in a highly competitive dawg-eat-dawg society. Even in this "community" players are pitted against each other, I mean "challenged", to attain the highest score on a particular level to win gold bars. They are like, well, GOLD to most players, especially the ones that do not pay to play, like me. I used to use them for extra moves on a whim, but now I hoard them to buy a quantity of unlimited life to use with the boosters I get from the Space Race. Without the ad videos that gave me a good chance of landing an extra 15 moves when I fail a level, I am unable to use the 6 hours of timed boosters because I run out of lives long before the timers have run out. Inherently, we want to compete with someone. It's not fair that an advantage is given, usually without the player even realizing that they've been blessed or cursed at the King's whim. It's not fair that some have their "version" of the game be so vastly different than the next person's "version". To be told that it's because a new feature is in "trial" after it's been present in a game for actual years, is an insult. Across the board, it's an insult, and ultimately a travesty; sucking the fun out of something to benefit no one but the greedy corporate trolls that control the kingdom.

I have been playing the Fantastic 5 before it was introduced in the Community by the former Community Moderator, Jelly_Jenny. Since my team and I were doing great, getting Boosters left and right, I gave it a 5-Star Rating and even posted Tim McGraw's song I Like It, I love It, I Want Some More Of It in the thread. I think about a week or so later, points were reduced and went downhill. I couldn't pull-out my posting with the rating because it was no longer editable. This taught me a lesson to never share my thoughts on something that I really, really like and just keep it to myself because they can be taken away just like that.

Haha... Fauxtastic... Good one! I didn't know that about the goal shuffle.... I know I've kept the same ones and I'M the one that gets us to the goal. So. How does THAT work? Two slackers, two "dabblers", one actual go-getter carrying the entire team. yaaaaay

I always had more than my share of points too, why the hell should random strangers benefit from other people playing the game? The whole concept of these “team” features in this and other King games - all of which are strictly single-player - is complete and utter garbage and receives nothing but complaints. There’s a thread on the CCSS forum about a uniformly-detested “team” feature(MTF) that’s now over 110 pages and still it exists and changes that were promised many months ago by CMs never came to fruition.
