I don't think they can control the Windows 10 Candy Crush Saga App Reviews. Mine is still there. I edited my review last December 31, 2019. I gave it a 1-Star ⭐ Rating. It is too bad I can't give it lesser than that. You can look mine up .

I don't think opening a New Thread can help this cause. It is just going to take the focus away from where the action started, where outpouring of emotions are evident. It is just a way to divert members attention somewhere else to make this irrelevant so they can close and bury this to the ground. If I were you, I'd keep this alive.

The question is point blank and valid. It does not diminish the strength of this thread which has turned into nothing more than a place to vent frustration and be ignored.
Not a single comment from the CM in weeks has rendered this thread nearly invisible. He is posting everywhere BUT here.
It's time him call him out directly and that thread does that. It deserves our attention just much as this one.

Many have described the frustrations that arise with these “rewards”. What struck a nerve was that it was obviously a very crude way to try to squeeze money out of players. We all understand that this is a business but do not appreciate being disrespected, insulted and underestimated.
Of course, the final straw is the “INABILITY TO RESET WITHOUT LOSS OF PLAY LIFE &/or BOOSTERS” You can almost hear the stampede of people uninstalling the game and snapping their wallets shut around the globe!!! To then call it a “FIX” added insult to injury.
It was simply pathetic. Complete misreading of your clientele.
Here are a few humble suggestions for the King/Activision Studio/Management:

1} Hire some good Social Psychologists (not just business consultants).
Simple psychology is at work here. They can call me to be part of a focus group...
2) Admit this particular mistake, apologize and reverse it completely. (& while you’re at it phase out the timed boosters...) There are many ways to increase revenue without hitting people over the head with a cudgel. This is your flagship game. Don’t let it disintegrate.
3) Make a “Suggestion Box” and “Wish List” and LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS...we are a loyal bunch. We are rooting for you so that we can continue to enjoy this captivating game.

I am stuck as I am waiting for new levels, but I won't buy boosters when the new levels arrive. I can still manage without buying them even after they removed the reset feature. Maybe they will end up removing free boosters altogether? That would be the day :-) In the meantime I tried Soda, find it a little boring, am not really getting into it. Actually it's good because I am more productive now as am not playing that much anymore. For a six billions dollars company, I find Activation not very smart. They fix things that don't need to be fixed and don't fix things that would badly need fixing. Go figure.I am rather amused in fact.

Eliminating the Free Board Reset will bring in billions of revenues to King Digital Entertainment. The Paid Board Reset will bankrupt a player who is totally addicted to the game. As we all know, it takes several resets to get an acceptable Board Configuration which means the player has to lose lives and boosters that are carried along in the process.

The Free Board Reset feature was put in place for years to make sure that many players get totally hooked. When time is right like last December 5, it was time to reel them in for the kill.

I believe King deliberately trialed this "fix" for 1 month, the month of December into the holiday break. As such, I've been patient till now.
If no word from King is delivered by today, I'll be both surprised and also kind of uninterested. Let's face it: I could be doing a lot more with my life than wasting a few hours on this game every day. If King really wants to turn CCS into what it has become (no lives/lives sporadically being sent, timed boosters, shuffle ability gone), I'll gladly give it up. It'll make my decision very easy.

Apparently Windows 10 get more levels or get the new levels in advance. Not sure. Hate windows 10 and will only use it if no other choice.

Each time I hear from another player I'm reminded of something I have that someone else doesn't, or something I used to have and don't, or something I've never even seen. It's really not fair when we are also tasked competing against each other, with each other, etc and the playing field is so vastly different. Their excuse of "testing" these features is insulting. They aren't testing a damn thing. They just don't care enough or they are trying to manipulate players into spending money. It's a travesty, really, when you think about it. I play a game that is synced on a global scale on a nearly daily basis and they come in at 6 in the top 10 grossing games, BEHIND CCS. Ava that company doesn't have 20 other games in the market pulling in billions of dollars a year. Probably billions a DAY, for the King. It's disgusting. I wishno one would pay to play any of them just for a week. Cut them off at the knees.

his had the
-music box where u are awarded with 30min infinity lives after reaching the keys
-an extra daily spin worth 12 gold bars & it included the party booster!
-and a reward from tiffi after logging in with an internet connection!! and the rest of the others i have
while me i didn't have those in my game app just had fantastic 5, episode race, free daily spin, candy pet, dexter space challenge, daily sticker, and the scrolls that don't really matter to me!

Windows 10 is 2 weeks ahead of phones and yes 6174 needs at least one UFO and some hands and hammers to pass.....

There isn't a player on the planet that has a game that's the same as the person sitting next to them. That's a fact
I've posted several times about the ridiculous numbers of inconsistencies from one player to the next and one device to another. No two games are alike. It's absurd. It's also what brought me to this discussion in the first place. Then I found out about the reset being "fixed".
