Here is a great example. Ive attempted this level numerous times over the last 2 days and by the time you've cleared enough of the hard bricks to get to the candies you need, you only have a couple moves left. They're trying to make you pay for boosters. This kind of game is not fun when you only have so many tries in a short amount of time and it's just not doable without the booster bot! I refuse to spend another penny on a game I can barely play anymore.

@candyjay yes game has got a lot harder and can be very repetitive now. you always looking for that lucky board to pop up. If this is you screen suggest better trying this level after you have harvested a few boosters or when say you feed rami and get an hour of free colour bombs, might make the level more bearable.
Im 6700+ and have same problems with some levels but lucky i have harvested a few boosters in the past, but i tend to try not to use them unless necessary, so always look for the times when i can get timed boosters to help on the really hard levels.

It's not possible to just get boosters without spending money. I do not have Rami right now so it's just waiting and playing the same level for 3 days only 5 minutes at a time. It's not any fun this way.

Check your events box will show you what you can do to gain boosters. and yes agree not fun when it becomes repetitive but as they claim all levels are possible without boosters, If you believe that

changed the format so booster bot can only be built up on newer levels. hot topic at the moment, many disgruntled players.
