You will need a superstar to help you will tag one for you. boosters are stored on phone so normally lost due to upgrading phone or device reset, so not sure on your problem
first thing to try is make sure game is upto date and sign out restart your device and sign back in. also if playing through web browser clear the cache aswell. Other than that cannot really help you as i know pc/phones not sure on ipad.
