You can stop those notifications by changing a setting in your "Profile" ποΈ Please follow below steps::
Click on the Gear / Cog Wheel icon that is located in the top right corner of this page ---> Click on "Edit Profile" option from the drop-down menu ---> Select "Notification Preferences" from the right side pane options ---> Scroll down to the bottom and select the last but one option and UN-Check both the boxes ---> Don't forget to "Save Preferences".

@FluffBall When you turn them off put bookmarks on the ones you do want notifications on. Keep bookmarked notifications on.
