Hi and welcome to the community.
Actually there are two types of F5 features are available.
One is random fantastic five (which you are having).
Another is custom fantastic five. Where you can find create/join button. It is slowly been rolled out to all players.
Devices dont make any difference.
Keep your game up to date. And hopefully soon you will also have this feature.

Currently there are some changes in Fantastic 5 and the point target is 15000. You are probably using an older version of Fantastic 5 so you are having this problem.
This can be a problem even if the game is not fully connected to the server.
Right now, I'm asking you to check the steps below.
Check App Update > Log Out Game > Restart Device > Open Game & Log In.

- Open the Fantastic Five feature.
- If you've created a team, you'll see it here. If not, go back in the steps to create one.
- Select your own team and you'll have the option to open it.
- From here you can send an invitation to join your team. Send the link directly to friends and family or share it on social media. Those with the link will be able to open the game and join your team!

To create a team is easy, just follow these steps!
- Open the Fantastic Five feature.
- If it's visible*, tap the 'Create' button.
- Get creative and give your team an inspiring and unique name. (Remember, nothing you wouldn't want your Grandma to see!).
- Choose your privacy. You can make your team a publicly visible group, so other people can join - or keep it between you and those you choose to share it with.
- You'll be assigned the team creator and your player avatar and name will appear on the list.
- If you are currently a member of a team, you'll automatically leave and become a member of your new one.
