Candy Crush won't load

I am running Candy Crush Saga on a KindleHD. This morning it won't load. The cover screen appears for about 15 seconds and then defaults back to the carousel.

  I would swipe out and try again. If that doesn't work try restarting your kindle. I had issues before of it not connecting and tried those methods.
