Candy Crush won't open on Kindle Fire

I have tried all the recommendations in order to get Candy Crush working on my mother's Kindle Fire with no success. We get the opening Orange King screen, it stalls for about 30-40seconds then blinks and goes back to the device home screen. We can't get to her account to share her account number but I created one if that will help. Please help.

Candy crush not working on my kindle. Same issue as others have reported- orange king screen for 10 seconds, blinks and goes away. Please fix!

I am having the same problem on my Kindle Fire. The orange King screen comes up for a little bit, then goes back to my home screen.
