Which Blockers can I find in the game?

It can’t always be smooth sailing! Blockers are the name for anything that gets in your way.

Most Blockers don’t drop like other candies - they stay in place on the board until they’ve been cleared. Plus, they can also come in several stubborn layers!

To clear Blockers, try matching candies in the spaces beside them.

Blockers can be hit with blasts from exploding candies or with Boosters such as the Lollipop Hammer.

Tip: If you’ve got a screen full of Blockers, quickly clear as many as you can to make more room for matches!

Here are just some of the Blockers you'll encounter. You'll discover more as you travel through the game - so good luck!

Frosting: Clear this classic blocker by matching adjacent candies or hitting them with blasts triggered by combining Special Candies. You’ll be cool as icing!

Multilayered Frosting: Same as above, only this Blocker can come in many layers. Keep hitting them until they disappear.

Jelly: This wobbly friend appears on many levels and often must be cleared to win. Jelly tiles might have single or several layers. Matching candies directly on top should do the trick!

Chocolate: Not as sweet as it sounds! You’ll want to get rid of it quickly because the chocolate can multiply, spreading out across the board and swallowing up all the candies underneath. Gulp!

Dark Chocolate: Darker in appearance and twice as thick. This appears in levels after 3000, so you will need all your skills. Keep it under control and make sure there's no 'chocolate-spread'!

Licorice Lock: The licorice sits on top of a candy and locks it in place so that it can’t drop or be switched. To stop the lock, make a match with the captive candy.

Licorice Swirl: Unlike most other Blockers, these twisted fellows can drop and move around the board. Matching adjacent candies is the best way to deal with them, as they are resistant to blasts and will stop them in their tracks.

Bomb: Tick tock... Match the Bomb with candies of the same color before the timer hits zero, or it’s game over!

Magic Mixer: The Magic Mixer will generate items on the board. Keep those items in check and try to destroy the Mixer with adjacent matches or special (Wrapped or Striped) candy blasts. Try to keep the mixer intact if you need to collect the items it's generating!
