Level 3

  • And it amazes me they are putting a timer on everything, except the thing it would be most useful on, and that is lives! Another game I play, (that I started a few months ago when Candy Crush made it so booster bot couldn't be used on past levels), this game has a daily claim that gives 20 or 30 minute of free lives, it…
  • I am not a fan of timed sugar drops. Candy Crush is my break game, I only have time to play it for 5 - 10 minutes during breaks throughout the day. I get that Candy Crush is probably hoping that people will keep playing it for hours no end, but people with money to spend on Candy Crush, most likely have jobs, so they can't…
  • I've had my children do the same thing. It happens, I think of children playing my game as just another game "blocker", part of the challenge!
  • There are ALOT of "match 3 games" with game play similar to Candy Crush. I would search for "match 3 games" in your app store, and try a few that sound appealing to you. Your favorite may likely be different from other's suggested favorite, the different games are have different appeals. But since you enjoy/enjoyed Candy…
  • I will just say, I think it's kind of dumb that they have to "test" a feature that was already released and used by everyone for 2 years. I guess they are testing to see if people will spend more money if they have access to the old booster, but they should already know that from the 2 years that everyone had the old…
  • Boosters are given at level 4000 now, which is cool. I think this is a relatively recent change, like within the past 6 months.
  • That thread (at least now), says in bold "it will remove your boosters", so it's known that the "fix" will remove boosters.
  • This has never been just a "moving foward game." "Moving Foward" is just one aspect of the game. Players are encouraged to replay old levels, to get 3 stars, to get sugar drops, to beat friends scores, on FB to get the trophy for being the first of their friends to get 3 stars on all the levels in a group, etc. We used to…
  • Even then, whoever made this decision won't want to admit they made a mistake, so they will try to rationalize it as other factors and refuse to change back. Then 3 - 4 years down the road, someone new will suggest it, and the company will be like "yeah, great idea", and act like it's something brand new. At least this…
  • Yeah, I don't think they care that the game is no longer fun for long-term players. They are hoping for the investment cost, that people will think they've put so much money into the game, that they will pay huge amounts more in order to pass next-to-impossible levels. And probably some people will not. Not me, I see the…
