JLJB Level 2

Comments

  • I echo Carol-Martins comments above, but I will continue in NOT playing new levels and will not spend one more penny on Candy Crush or any King game for that matter. A great disservice has been done to longtime players and I believe this change will discourage new players from continuing.
  • @Crimson_Dawn I don't believe that's true, at least not for me. Before the current booster bot, if you didn't pass one level, all the boosters in the bot were lost, so you had to go back and play enough levels to regain a full bot, most importantly the two chocolate balls.
  • If King was recently purchased by another corporation it makes a lot more sense to me now. The company is trying to recoup its investment as quickly as possible literally and figuratively at the expense of the players.
  • I am trying to figure out the sense of it all. If the point is to ensnare the newbies and keep them playing the game by making the early levels very easy, as we know is the case, once they reach the harder levels and have the current Build-a-Bot, won't they be even more likely to quit as opposed to spending the money to…
  • @pvalla2 Your comments remind me of the old "bait and switch" method that some retailers have used where they would advertise an item for a certain price, and when customers would come to the store to purchase that item, it would "no longer be available" but there would be a similar item for a higher price that would be…
  • @mercerik I read your strategy link, and I certainly understand it. I have always striven to get 3 stars and will play a level repeatedly until I do or until I realize it can't be done. Building up enough boosters to pass one level and move on is not a strategy that will work for me, and I still believe new players will…
  • What I don't understand is if the reason so many new players drop out of CC is the difficulty in passing levels, how does this Build-a-Bot benefit King? The percentage of dropouts will increase with the difficulty of passing the levels.
  • As an addendum to my post above, I will not be playing any King games in the future There are lots of other options out there.
  • I am one of those that have quit playing new levels and have not paid one more penny to King. I believe even new players will quit, as they always have, when levels become more difficult, and this new Build-a-Bot will not improve the odds of players continuing on. The game is simply not fun if you have to work too hard to…
  • The thing is, we have all been playing CC for years, and it feels like a child who has been taken out for ice cream every Sunday for seven years and suddenly he's told no more ice cream on Sundays. It's not only very upsetting, it's downright hurtful.
  • This new build-a-bot is literally a game changer for me. I will play no more new levels but continue to collect the sugar drop boosters in the event King decides this was a bad move on its part. We used to get 60 gold bars and now we get 30 for the same price -- and now this!
