I did end up beating it by winning an extra 5 moves from the spinner and using a hand switch booster. Couldn't have done it without the extra moves.

Well, I somehow managed to get lucky enough to pass this level after probably a week of trying. I got super lucky with 2 candy bombs appearing side by side with about 7 moves left. I have this question too! I was working tirelessly to get through the cities in Italy and now it's been replaced with Mario's star chase which I have no interest in since I've completed all the levels on the mobile version. Please bring this feature back!

I don't see how this one is possible. The best I've done is 9 chocolates left but not 9 chocolates available to even get. I guess I have to wait until I've saved up enough checkmark boosters to get this one. I just finished as well and have no idea what the reward was supposed to be. It told me I received a reward but didn't show me what it was. If it's supposed to be gold bars I certainly didn't get them.
