I does appear to legitimately be from King. When I replied to the email asking for instructions on how to redeem, I received a reply from Kingfo <kingfo@auto.king.com> stating:

Wah!!!! 😿 Level 2887 6 out of 7 pets rescued. . . only needed one more and he's sitting on a yellow block hoping to be saved.
