Wow that does not look nice, I'm really sorry that the game is acting out like this for you. Is it still like this now? With the crashing going on as well it does sound like something more is affecting this that is hard to pinpoint. Have you had this problem on other devices as well (if you've been able to test it?)

As for the candies not being counted, I've reported this to the studio. It's very unfortunate that it happens, but I'll do my best to communicate it to those who might be able to fix it! @Yosca @Amoonmoon
