You are correct. They removed most of those levels just a few weeks ago, right before the tournament started; I remember playing most of them a week or two before the tournament started. And yes, 27 was truly horrible! The only one worse was 65, which unfortunately they still didn't remove.

I don't think that is possible. The Star Tournament always advances you to the next level whether you win or lose; you have to loop through all 82 levels to get back to it again.
