I’ve seen the same notification. Said I had to pass 3 levels by a certain time to qualify. I did and I received a second notification that I qualified. Beyond that, no idea what’s in store for us.
Indeed, he does like to show up just when I either run of of lives or am ready to quit playing. I think there is a pattern to his actions, but I’m not quite sure what it is. Or what just happened. I finish the level next to the key. Next message—“Batula has taken the key” just before it moves me to the level with the key.…
I should have said, “...Quests were removed from MY game...” rather than THE game. I stand corrected. When Mr. Toffee’s Fair showed up I was extremely critical of it. However, there have been SOME improvements and now that I look at it as an event to be played separate from the game (in the same manner I view Bubblegum…
Thanks @QueenB. I was afraid that reinstalling was going to be the solution.Three questions. 1. I understand I will lose boosters. Does this include both the boosters you can select before you start a level and the boosters you can use while playing (lollipops and switches)? 2. Will I also lose gold bars? 3. How do I make…
Thanks @Elsa. It is indeed very strange and it is still happening. Reminds me of the “old days” when things would slow down because you had too many windows open. But since everything else is working fine, and it works fine when the cellular data is turned off just for the App, it has to be something related to the app.
Surprise! My current team made it to 800 points with several days to spare. Everyone was participating daily. So another round with the same group. Four days in and I am the only player who has any points. The others haven’t even collected a point for playing daily. Go figure.
Hi @wowee1000 If you’ve looked at some of the posts on the Soda Squad board and Mr. Toffee board that @PummyRaj linked, you’ve noticed that a lot of other players have expressed frustration with the team events. With Mr. Toffee, I’ve actually found that I enjoy the event more if I get teamed up with people who are ignoring…
Thanks @Xarly for the insight. A couple of thoughts on the two new versions. First, a confession of sorts. I use the beginning levels to complete my Mr. Toffee tasks. This allows me to complete the tasks without risking one of my lives, thus focusing on the task at hand rather than trying to pass a level. Usually I can…
@Dirty_Nurse after I realized that level 28 had changed I went and replayed levels 1-40-something. After that I just spot checked a few levels. I’m not familiar enough with those levels to say for certain they had changed, but I was able to easily pick up 3 stars on some levels where I had previously only earned one or…
Here’s a suggestion for dealing with the parkers and blockers. It’s not perfect, and honestly, I’d probably find it a bit annoying, but maybe “annoying” is what’s needed. The game gives us lots of hints and reminders—“x players used extra moves” or “do you want to save your streak” etc. What if Mr. Toffee gave a reminder…
Rainbow Streak showed up in my game for the first time a few days ago. The first thing I noticed was that it explicitly shows you what happens if you don’t manage to keep the streak going. I also have to say that I miss the graphics associated with Rainbow Road, which were more fun/entertaining. Which do I prefer? Tough to…
My favorite episode is Magic Mirror (levels 361-375). I like this episode for a number of reasons. First, it introduces the purple jelly bean candies which I think are really fun. Also, level 361 is both fun and instructive in how to use those candies. Second, this episode has lots of my favorite types of levels (honey and…
I had this pop up for the first time this morning. I don’t have any “sensory issues” but I found the flashing border around the screen very distracting.
