Would not it be possible to lower the 10 gold bars for further play? Because you get from the episode race as 1st place 5 gold bars. Unfortunately, I hardly have gold bars.

I think it would be a good idea for all of the team to be on the same level at the same time. For example Dave is on level 431, so the rest of the team plays level 431 until one of the teammates finishes the level.
