If you have recently changed the time on your device (due to travelling or other reasons) this may affect the game.
To fix the issue, please open the map screen in the game and check how long you have to wait for the next life. After that set the clock on your device forward by that much.
If the game for example says “100 hours until the next life” you may need to change the date in your phone’s calendar. In this case, please calculate how many days are in 100 hours and set the date forward accordingly.
Then access the game’s map screen briefly and go back to the settings menu on your device.
Set the date back to the current date and restart your device.

@PeterPans Hi and welcome, enter the game and then change date on your iphone to 2021 wait till the lives in your game refreshes to 5 lives. exit the game and change the date date to 2020. restart your device and then log back in see if this resolves you issue.
If not i am guessing your game may have become corrupt and if this is the case uninstall is the only option, but as its a mobile device you will lose any stored boosters and lives

If you have recently changed the time on your device (for example, changing time zones due to travel) this may affect the lives timer in the game. To fix this, simply follow these steps:
- Open the game and check how long you have to wait for your next life.
- Now set the clock on your device forward by that amount of time.
- (For example, if the game says “100 hours until your next life” you'll need to change the date in your phone’s calendar. For this example that's 4 days and 4 hours.
- Now briefly return to the game’s map screen to allow this to register.
- Then go back to your device's time setting menu and restore the time and date back to the correct setting.
- Finally, turn off your device for 10 seconds, then turn it back on. This should now be all fixed!
