Switch Google Play Account?

When I tried to buy gold bars earlier this evening, instead of my Google Play account, it went to my husband's account. I have a lot of funds from answering surveys on my account so that's the one I prefer to use. Is there any way to switch the default account? I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling after making sure I was the one logged in, no luck.

    This is something that you can select from the Google Play Store on the Android tablet you both share.

    Before making any purchase in any app you got installed, just make sure through the Google Play Store app that you are on the right account.

    I am having this same issue. My husband's account isn't even logged into my phone but when I try to purchase bars it shows his email attached. What gives?
